Storms 100 miles away!
Just walked up on the hill and shot these images of storms firing on an outflow boundary more than 100 miles away in southwestern Virginia. Skies are crystal-clear here - so if these cells can maintain themselves after dark, I may get some lightning shots out of them - from right here, outside of the SPC general thunderstorm risk area!
