Charleston flooding/shelf cloud

With this type of pattern, it's usually best to stay close to home, as things usually end up being widespread enough to not have to 'chase' much. So, I stayed around town waiting to jump on flash flooding - the farthest point I ended up was down on Davis Creek (trying to find flood waves). Lots of standing water on the roads, but the only 'real' flooding I saw was at the South Park underpass in Kanawha City:

After that episode calmed down, another cluster of weakening storms was moving in from the west, laying down a nice shelf/arcus cloud which moved over downtown. This is the reason I don't spend $1,000 a week to chase marginal storm patterns in the Plains - I can get pretty much the same results here!
