Greenbrier River Trail
Finished a 25-mile ride today with friends from Beard to Anthony, WV on the Greenbrier River Trail. As usual, I go way too long between physical challenges like this - so the last 8 miles were brutal, but I made it. Here is the crew on the falling rock guard at Droop Mountain Tunnel, using my backpack as a 'bagpod':

I had my camera with me all day, but unfortunately I didn't get any chances to stop and shoot scenics. The mountains did get their first frost on Friday morning (props to the GFS, which called it a week in advance), and leaves are starting to change up there already. The weather could not have been more perfect today for the long ride. After our big event at work this week (new service launch and press conference) is over with, I might go back up for a leisurely photography drive in the mountains when the next clear day comes around.
